Moneygram Money Transfer
Pay with Moneygram
Moneygram is the direct rival of Western Union. The primary difference is that they have lesser coverage which means fewer agents around your location. The greatest downside to Moneygram is the issue of monthly limits which are not clearly defined, often leading to failed transactions for heavy senders and receivers.
With Moneygram, you can send money either through an agent location or via the moneygram official website.
Moneygram – Send Money Via an Agent Location
You can search for the nearest Moneygram agent location through the moneygram website. And agent location is simply a physical location where you can send money. It could either be in a bank, credit union, supermarket or shopping mall such as walmart, and other authorized agents like 7 Eleven.
After you place an order and specify that you intend to pay via Moneygram, payment instructions will be sent to you via email. This information includes First Name, Last Name, City and Country of receiver who will receive the payment.
After making payment, please take a clear photo of the payment receipt and forward to us for verification and clearance of funds.
The receipt will generally contain sender’s (your) information, receiver’s (the details we provided) information and an 8-digit Moneygram reference number.
Moneygram – Send Money Online
Sending payment via an agent location is the most recommend method but if you prefer to send payment online using your credit/debit card or bank account, that is also acceptable.
Send Money Online with Credit/Debit Card or Bank Account
Go to the Moneygram send money online page.
- Register or log in: Enter your information so that Moneygram can verify your identity.
- Select a receiver or send to someone new: Tell Moneygram who you are sending to, how they want to receive the money and how much you want to send.
- Choose how to pay and send: You can either pay with your credit or debit card, or directly from your bank account. Card issuer cash advance fee and associated interest charges may apply when you send money from your credit card.
After sending payment online, please take screenshots of the confirmation receipts showing sender’s information, receiver’s information, and the 8-digit Moneygram reference number.
Please note that to protect ourselves from fraudsters, if you send payment online using a credit/debit card or bank account we are going to request for a Photo ID (photo of Passport or Driver’s License) for verification. If you know you won’t be comfortable with this requirement please send money at an agent location or choose another payment option.
